The SADCON 2026 Symposium will bring together researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, and policy makers to explore the latest advancements and challenges in automation, digitalization, and decarbonization within the construction sector.
This year’s program will feature technical sessions, applied research presentations, and cross-disciplinary discussions that highlight emerging technologies, sustainable construction practices, and innovative pathways to a low-carbon built environment.
We welcome abstracts from academics, engineers, contractors, technology providers, software developers, innovators, and all stakeholders interested in sharing ideas, presenting new findings, and shaping the future of automated and sustainable construction in Canada and beyond.

Submission Details
Full Paper, Case Study, and Extended Abstract Submissions
Each format of submission types is designed to encourage participation from a broad range of contributors, from academic researchers to industry practitioners.

Authors are encouraged to select the format that best fits their work and objectives. Guidelines for the preparation of full paper, case study, and extended abstract submissions, including templates, will be posted in December 2025. Authors must submit their full paper, case study, or extended abstract by January 14, 2026.
